Summer’s in full swing, and Fourth of July is right around the corner. So, we wanted to share with you a few fun-filled, local options for celebrating!
Remember, it’s been a dry year, so let’s leave the firework fun to the professionals. We hope that no matter what you do that you have a fun and safe Fourth of July!
VAIL AMERICA DAYS
If you’re looking to spend a full-day outdoors with no shortage of happenings, Vail America Days might be the perfect way to celebrate the Fourth. The fun starts at 8am with a Pancake Breakfast, and the celebration continues through dark.
Throughout the day, there will be live music, a parade, a Public Library Book Sales and more. The day will end with an awesome firework display. You can view the full-day schedule here.
GYPSUM 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
Free hotdogs and popcorn, live music from Under a Blood Red Sky (a U2 tribute band) and fireworks! That’s exactly what you’ll find at the Gypsum. The festivities take place from 7-9:30pm.
The event is sponsored by The Town of Gypsum, The Town of Eagle, The Eagle County Airport, Vail Valley Jet Center, Bighorn Toyota, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, The Liquor Shop, and US Bank and is guaranteed to be a ton of fun! AVON 4TH OF JULY FUN AT NOTTINGHAM PARK
Besides this being a great event, what’s even better is that you can enjoy two rounds of fireworks, since this one takes place on July 3 starting at 5pm!
From face painting to fire jugglers to stilt walkers, there’s no shortage of fun at this Avon celebration. Bring your friends, family and blanket and enjoy fresh squeezed lemonade, funnel cakes, roasted ears of corn and more! The firework show offers 10,000 shells that will explode in a pyrotechnic extravaganza of dazzling color and sound. For more information visit the event page.
