It’s not every day you receive a call from a prospective client who is interested in having a horse barn and garage built. But, at PCW, we welcome any and all ‘challenges.’
We first met Stacia back in January when she was in the process of moving from Salt Lake City and was seeking some help from a company to help execute her vision. Side note: A very special thanks to Kelly Moser of Slifer Smith and Frampton for the referral!
We knew right away that this was awesome and a big project from a logistics standpoint — we would be responsible for building a 5,000-square-foot horse barn that needed to be functional on a number of levels, have a beautiful aesthetic and work with a client who was not local.
Todd Morrison, owner of Precision Construction West, said, “This project was so much fun to work on. Building a structure that you know means so much to a client is what our team lives for.” The finished project consisted of a post and beam structure barn that entailed unique design elements to let in natural light. It included four horse stalls, five garage bays and a tack room.
“I’d never had a good experience with a contractor before so I was a little nervous from the get go, especially since we weren’t living at the house. But, PCW exceeded each and every expectation I could have possibly had,” explained Stacia.
Stacia went on to explain that working with the PCW team was not only easy, but a true pleasure.
“There were so many potential hurdles – construction was taking place in the middle of winter, and we were living in another state. The PCW understood our anxiety of being so far away, so they maintained impeccable communication throughout the project.”
Todd echoed the same feelings, “We not only wanted to do the job exceptionally well based on Stacia’s requests, but also wanted to provide feedback and suggestions along the way. We know that our clients sincerely appreciate our team not only being ‘doers’ but also serving as advisors to ensure the project is completed beyond expectations.”
PCW is not only excited to have brought Stacia’s vision to life, but also to have contributed a beautiful structure to the community in Eagle County.
“We love that we’re able to bring beauty to the community and serve clients who are located in other cities, states and countries but want to have something special in Eagle County.
With our team’s excellent anticipation of needs, proactive thought and excellent communication, it’s so good to know that we can provide the same level of service to local residents as we are to clients who are relocating or own second homes in the area,” said Todd.
Stacia’s final thoughts on the project?
“Any other time I’ve worked with a contractor, I’ve always been content knowing I’d never have to interact with them again. With PCW, I felt the opposite. I consider them friends; good friends that I’d love to have a beer with at the local bar.” Side note to Staci: We’d love to have a beer with you anytime! Our treat of course!
If you’re looking for a company that can assist you with your construction needs (even if you aren’t living full-time in the area), we’re your team. Please contact us. We’d love to hear about your project and how we might be of service!
