Sometimes, it’s nice to take a trip down memory lane. This is especially true when you are a busy construction company with a portfolio of residential and commercial projects. One that we are especially proud of is the remodeling and construction project at the Rio Blanco County Pavilion in Meeker.
Located on Main Street, this new pavilion is a hallmark of the Meeker community. It is located just outside of the new justice center and serves as a community gathering spot for local residents and visitors alike. Working with a tight timeline, the project was started in June 2015 and was completed in time for the 4th of July holiday.
We worked in tandem with FCI, the general contractor, to complete the project safely and efficiently. Specifically, we were responsible for the installation of the roofing system and the glulam substructure.
Todd Morrison, owner of Precision Construction West, adds “This was our first time working with FCI, and we could not have been happier with our working relationship. The 18,000-square-foot project is a fantastic addition to the Meeker community and we hope that the residents will enjoy it for many years to come.”
This heavy timber project required some very specific expertise, which is why FCI called upon us for our construction services. Chewy Rojas, one of our talented employees, was tasked with setting the large timber pieces in place with a crane.
If you have a construction project on the horizon in the Vail Valley, please contact us at Precision Construction West (PCW). We are a full-service construction company who specializes in commercial and residential projects, and we would love to discuss your objectives.
